Stoke City FC’s community team reaches out to around 350 schools in the club’s catchment area, with the aim of helping many young people to lead a better lifestyle with help of sport. In addition to football, community staff offer coaching in a whole range of sports, including rugby, cricket, hockey, and athletics. The club also offers an assistance or support with the difficult task of managing Planning, Preparation and Assessment (PPA) time for these schools. It means that Stoke community team offers either half or full day support that will fulfil the units of the Physical Education curriculum.
