Umwelt Umwelt Manchester City F.C.
During 2007, the club, in cooperation with partners, planted about 200 new trees. Aside from this, Manchester City FC manages around 11 hectares of green space, of which around 22% consists of trees and space of high ecological value actively managed to promote biodiversity. During the period from 2007 to 2009 the club and its partners succeeded in an action plan to plant over 400 copses and wild flower meadows in schools and community gardens across the Manchester region.
