Swiss Football League (SFL) organized a first Sustainability Workshop

The example that BSC Young Boys have set also inspired the Swiss Football League (SFL) to organize a first Sustainability Workshop with representatives from all 12 Credit Suisse Super League (first division) and 10 Dieci Challenge League (second division) teams. Representatives who are either already in charge of sustainability in their respective clubs or who will be soon. Unfortunately, not every club was able to follow the invitation but the day spent together was still fruitful and hopefully an important step towards a more sustainable SFL.

RESPONSIBALL presented the results of the 2023 ranking, Filippo Veglio from UEFA talked about the efforts made in connection with the UEFA EURO 2024 as well as 2025 and Ranusan Chandrapalan from BSC Young Boys presented the most important measures his club has taken to become number one in Switzerland.

The next step in this process will now be a 2-day workshop that RESPONSIBALL will host for the SFL-leadership group to determine how sustainability can become a key component of the league in the future.
