SPORT4REFUGEES welcomes more than 400 refugees and more than 20 partner clubs in Switzerland

SPORT4REFUGEES is an international initiative launched at the RESPONSIBALL Forum in 2018 to support sports clubs and associations in their efforts to welcome people with a migration background and to integrate them into sports. The programm has thus far welcomed more than 400 refugees and has been able to create collaborations with more than 20 partner clubs and organizations in Switzerland, including ASVZ, BSC Young Boys, ZSC Lions and the Swiss handball federation.

Our aim is to register 30 clubs by the end of this year so we can offer even more opportunities for refugees to find a place to play sports and better integrate into the local community.
